This two-day, hands-on seminar is an introduction to the application of photography in law enforcement functions and is designed to enhance the skills of participants through a combination of lecture and hands-on learning opportunities. This course will cover the following topics: - Basic photographic theories and principles - 35mm and digital camera operation - Crime scene documentation - Flash photography - Introduction to digital imaging and transition PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING THEIR AGENCY'S CAMERA AND THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL TO THIS COURSE. The subject matter of this course falls within the key training guidelines for the in-service training requirements for Lead Homicide Investigator. This course has been certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board and is not reimbursable by the ILETSB. **Cancellations must be received by NEMRT 35 days prior to the start of class in order to avoid being billed.
